Anyone have any experiences with either? Anything i should know? Im pretty much physically fit so that's no problem, and also since being in the military, im used to getting yelled at + serving time in iraq. I hear the police academy is now 5 months? What about the Fire? Im sure it's harder to get into the Fire Dept. The local PD is always hiring and i know a guy inside who's been there 20 years, and he actually turned me onto it. If i get hired, thru PD, then i wont have to pay for the academy which would be sweet!
