It's great sadness that the Philadelphia Fire Dept. announces the Line of Duty Death of Captain Mike Goodwin (53) of Ladder Company 27 on April 6th 2013. Capt. Goodwin was a 29 year veteran of the dept. He leaves behind a wife and two grown children. One of his brother is a Police Officer with the Philadelphia Police Dept. Narcotic Unit
