Fire Police Fairness Act Proposal Press Conference
On Monday, May 6th, 2013 at 10am, Congressman Joe Courtney and Senator Richard Blumenthal will be at the Gales Ferry Fire Company's Station (1772 Rt. 12 Gales Ferry, CT) to roll out the "Fire Police Fairness Act.
There will be a version of this bill in both houses of Congress thanks to Rep. Courtney and Sen. Blumenthal, which would, if enacted, extend "Public Safety Officers Death Benefits to Fire Police".
As all of you know, Fire Police put their lives on the line each and every day, keeping first responders, and the public safe from harm during all types of emergencies and disasters.
All are invited to the Press conference/rolling out of the bill.
